How do I get to people to come to my forum, some that I would like to invite to join?
Also how do I add different forums for different topics to my forum. As you can tell I am
very new at this and need help badly.
HI Linda, if you would like to invite members to join your forum, we suggest that you send an email to all your friends in your address book with a link to your forum and why they should join.
Lefora will help your forum appear in Google search results, however, you need to do a little leg work first. We recommend that at least 10 posts per day on a topic relevant to your forum. Either from your members, or you, as the admin, may have to make those daily posts each day for the first few weeks of getting your forum off the ground.
I see your forum is about Pet Lovers, you may want to consider uploading pet photos and sharing a link to the forum with your friends. You also may want to visit some other groups around the web, and contribute to those groups, and always link back to your forum in your sig.
What I do because I don't know any other way is the plaster it all ver the internet as much as I can. Like this: http://I-Hate-IE.forums-free.com
My site is aimed for people who hate IE, so I search in quotes like "Why I hate IE", Why I hate Internet explorer", "Bashing Internet Explorer" etc. As many as I can come up with. I post them on any site that's available to posting to post. If someone posts a good story and you need to be logged in to post a comment, I will most likely to sign up.
Yes, I'm desperate to get people to my forums because I never really had a successful site before and this one is the best one yet. I know their are a lot of people who hate IE.
