Is this something a person can already do? If not, wouldn't that be a good thing for people to do on their own forums when they need to redo things, etc...?

Just use a separate test forum to prep your changes, then copy them over when done.

Coloneljack... I know that would work, but I would rather be able to keep people off my site for a while. Sometimes, that would be really nice.
