topics / posts count seem to be wrong

we're not sure about this issue.  If anybody else is having it, please post here, the more details the better.

I do have a similar issue.

For instance, one of my categories lists it as having 28 topics, when in fact there are only 10 or so. It also lists 900 odd posts, when it's not even half of that.

It all simply doesn't add up.

Seems like guest _john3 is bored?

My categories don't seem to change the count number, no matter how many get added, changed or moved.  Same as dow. I believe one category says it has over 40, when it actually has less than 20.

we reset the counts on your forums, so this should be fixed now.  thanks for reporting.

same here.  the forum count says i have 54 posts in total, when i only have 22.  i think whenever i edit posts as the forum admin, the forum counts it as another post even if it should remain as one and the same post.  that's what i noticed.  i hope you can do something about it because it becomes very confusing for my members.  help!  thanks!^_^
