New Feature - Member Rankings

Today, we're giving all admins a 'sneak peak' on a new feature that will be released on Wed, July 8th - Member Rankings.
Member Rankings will allow you to assign 'ranks' to your members based on the number of posts they've made in the forum. This is our first version of 'Rankings' and we plan to offer additional features around this in the future.
The default Ranks are as follows:
- rookie ≥ 0 posts
- novice ≥ 10 posts
- regular ≥ 50 posts
- superstar ≥ 200 posts
- fanatic ≥ 1000 posts
As an admin, you can change around the Rank titles or the post requirement as you like. You can also assign special ranks to admins & mods if you want them to be different then the members in your forum. In the future, you'll be able to bump members to a higher rank outside of their post count.
To get a sneak preview of this feature, just head to your Admin Panel and click 'Settings' -> 'Rankings'
Update: If you DO NOT want member Ranks in your forum, you can just click 'Remove' on all the default Ranks and no rank titles will appear next to member names.
This will go down well
Thanks for the Added Rankings. It will certainly be nice to have that available now ! Do you think we can make NEXT Button a little larger or more eye attracting ? When you have Multiple pages I dont think the Visitors can actually see it. I had a hard time myself.
Thanks for Making our Forums more Admin, Friendly ! This helps us in many ways.
As Always-- STAY DEAD, PEOPLE ! Horror-Hill !
Been waiting for this for a long time, EXCELLENT!
Great Idea team ty maybe my lazy posters will do it for a badge
There will be those who love it and some who hate it. I can see some long time members who are lite posters getting ticked at being called rookie, novice, etc. I like it myself
You can remove it from your forum by just clicking 'remove' on all the Rank Titles. Then nobody in your forum will have a rank next to their name (i'll update the parent topic to make this clear).
I think it is cool. These rankings aren't really saying anything more than showing the number of posts that posters have made. It's not ranking them saying they made a bad post or negative post or their posts stink! lol I am on boards where they use the terms, 'junior, senior', etc., for their rankings. Like someone else already said, some will like it, some won't.
Great Idea , Well Done Chief keep them coming , are there any plans for new widgets in the pipeline as some companys just use them as a chance to advertise on your sites
YES!!! Thank you.. I have been waiting for this one and with the re-design of my forum (thanks Colonel)... this will really be a big hit.
Seems the Chief got a bit to excited; he wasn't supposed to share this until I'd linked it up in the admin pannel menu.
Anyway it's there now under 'Setup -> Rankings' right next to the categories tab.
So no need to mess about typing stuff in your urls by hand, you can click on it instead.
ITS A GREAT IDEA CHIEF
BUT WHEN WE GET MORE CUSTOMIZABLE MEMBER PROFILES, I THINK THAT LEFORA PROFILES COULD REALLY TAKE OFF
IVE SEEN SOME AWESOME PHPBB MODS THAT DO THAT
SHH, DID I SAY THAT?
GOOD WORK CHIEF!

Oops...that was my (Weeeeeeeee!) post just above.
Nice feature to encourage people to post. But you gotta help this novice out, please. The new look has nudged my videos and printed posts to the right, so they are now overlapping my sidebar. I don't want to reduce their width anymore than I already have. I guess you can't please everybody.
It's a nice incentive and the customization is a bonus. Thanks Lefora peeps.
BTW, our forum just passed 1000 posts today! One small step for the internet, one giant leap for our motley band of wordsmiths.
can we add an option - a button thanks on members post? i am just asking-it's a good option wich satisfid a member to writte a better posts?
sorry on my engl.
