Hello :) I apologise in advance for anything I have missed or have not read or if this is posted in the wrong place!
I was wondering whether or not there is anyway to Lock a whole Topic so that everyone can read it however only admin and moderators can post within it. I do not mean just one thread/post, but rather a whole Topic/category!

In the section of the Admin Panel Settings>Categories tab select Edit than check the box only Admins can start a Topic. Now when you create a Topic under that Category you will need to lock it with the Admin actions box in the Post. At this point only another Admin could unlock the Topic, post and relock.
