Edit post counts as new post

I've noticed whenever I go back to edit a post and then save it, my forum counts it as a brand new post. For example I make one post, it says under the category 1 post. I go back to edit it, it says under the category 2 posts, when there is just only one.

hey lexus, you'll have to provide more detail, please post a screenshot of your issue, and please post in a new topic, as this topic addresses a different issue.
on a side note, the post count issue is now fixed, if you still have a problem, please let us know.
