A way to see oldest posts first
As it is, I have to start with newest posts and work my way back... page by page. I would love a way to just go to the oldest post, first. When there are over a thousand posts I need to go through, it's a little rough to do that, page by page.
Is there a way to start with the oldest post or a way to make it an option?
Hmmm...usually you are taken to exactly where you left off last. First, make sure you are signed into your site.
When you click on a topic, you should just have to look for the gray view mark which says:
This bar marks the start of unread posts
(Also, there is often an ad incorporated into the viewmark, which should make it easy to find.)
There is probably a viewmark just above my post right now.
Everything under the ViewMark are new posts since your last visit, the oldest new post listed first.
I want to go to posts that were done when my forum first started, not newer ones. I have over a thousand that are not in use, but closed and saved. I would like a way to go to the first posts ever made, without going through twenty or more pages.
other than 1 of your categories, all your categories only have a dozen or so topics, so you can easily get to the oldest topic.
as for your 'Closed out Category', yes that has a lot of posts, you can just change the 'page number' in your address bar to jump to the end (by jumping forward in increments of 10 pages), here's a shortcut for you:
