New Feature - Leaderboards & Stats for your forum

Today we're launching a new feature - Leaderboards! VIP Members got a sneak peak at this feature earlier in the week.
Just click the 'Stats' tab on your forum to see a set of leaderboards on the most active posters and most active topics within your forum. If your forum is Public, you'll also see a big Lefora ranking badge on your Stats page that let's you know how active your forum is compared to other forums on the Lefora network. You can click 'See more' under your neighboring forums in the 'Weekly Charts', this will take you to our Global Stats, where you can see other leaderboards and get to the Top 100 Lefora forums. We'll also feature two Pro forums on these Global Stats each month - another advantage of going Pro and getting promotions and new visits from the Lefora network.
In the future, we'll be publishing content on how to grow your forum. Our blog has lots of helpful interviews with admins running large forums and makes for a good weekly read - http://blog.lefora.com
Remember, only Public Forums have a Lefora Ranking. We recommend forums be public to take advantage of the Search Engine Optimization we provide for your forum.
Hi,
this feature sounds great. When does it go live? I don't see anything like this on my stats page. My forum is public - http://saverschoice.lefora.com.
Thanks
Are you clicking the 'Stats' tab that was added to your forum (not your admin panel, but on the forum itself)
Great work man... now we're one step closer to the "Roles and Rankings" feature that I see promised on the road map....
So what is the css hack to get rid of this new 'stats' tab, because I'd really rather not have it.
hey zaklco, you can use a tool like Firebug to find out the IDs of items like this on lefora. I just did, and found out you would want to use:
#app_stats a { display:none; }
However, we're going to be adding a lot more stats to these pages, including badges that your members can embed on other sites to help drive more traffic to your forum. Mind providing some feedback on why you wouldn't want this in your forum? This page will play an active role for rankings, badges, activity, and promotion of your forum.
Qualms with the stats page:
1. Another tab? Really? Our sites already have four tabs (I'm running Juice), three of which are mostly useless. The 'Headlines' tab is a jarbled, uneditable mess of information that serves mostly to confuse people, I think. The 'members' page is a necessary tab, but I frankly never use it, and if anything, the "All time top posters" and " Authors of top topics" sections of the 'stats' page could have just as easily been integrated into the 'members' tab. The 'about' page could just as easily display the redundant "community info" portion of the 'stats' page.
2. Stats? I am the admin of my site and I barely care about stats, what do my members care about stats? Maybe my standards are high, but I frankly don't want to be associated with a bunch of (predominantly) poorly made forums completely unrelated to the focus of mine. And I really don't think my members care about a bunch of foreign or MMO gaming sites either.
3. This is what you were working on? Not fixing bugs in the post editor, or actually filling out it's features? The post editor is the MAJOR feature integrated into our forums, and it's been a bug ridden, simplistic, headache to work with ever since I joined Lefora, and there appears to be no resolution in sight. What a glaring oversight in an otherwise solid platform. If you want to be the best forum host, I suggest you get the foundation settled before building some monstrosity on top of it.
4. This isn't really a major problem, but nevertheless, the header I use on my site was made specifically for the four tabs we used to have, and I will likely have to rework the whole thing in photoshop to correct the change. Not the end of the world, but more work for me nonetheless.
Sorry, I kind of got on a rant there, but those are the issues I have, and thats just off the top of my head. Perhaps these 'badges' will prove the page worthwhile, but still, why roll out this new page before the truly beneficial features are implemented?
While I definitely appreciate the attempt at more transparency with admins recently, I really wish the layout (tabs, widgets, sidebar, footer, headline page, etc.) were more customizable and editable by the admins, and frankly, will probably never be happy with the Lefora service unless that happens). Obviously you guys will do what is in the best interest of your business, but your priorities regarding the evolution of these forums appears to be severely inconsistent with mine.
And, sorry, but that css hack still leaves the rounded, rightmost portion of the tab on Juice. Any fixes?
I like this feature a lot! I hope it will be possible to add even more stats in the future, like top thread-starters, top 10 countries by visit, top ten posters by word count, graphs that show number of visitors and pageview per day/month/year ![]()
The only problem I have now is that the tabs are now raised. Can someone suggest how to correct this?
Sounds great! Loving all the new features :) xx

You have to change the size or position of the elements so that they fit on one line. Would take some playing with Firebug and I am out of time at the Mo.
Agathos, you have custom css that sets font size to 15px, that makes the tabs larger than they should be (compare the font size on your tabs and the ones in support.lefora.com).
I recommend going to http://gunsnroses.lefora.com/admin/theme/css/
and changing the size from 15px to 13px, that should make them pop back in
