My group is currently set as private due to nother managers from another site called Rich and Anthropal form Science and Religion constantly reposting anything my members and me conversate about to his site to ridicule me and my members! I have done as chief asked me, I have emailed him and lefora support and the other lefora links chief gave me and had no reply as yet, (I emailed them over 48 hours ago as this is urgent! no other lefora site should be entitled to rubbish me and my efforts to get a SPIRITUAL site up and running and promote my services) I would not think it sensible for this to be allowed to continue, it will put others off from starting a site on lefora if they have this man Rich and Anthropal (who Rich said is a member of staff at lefora)  reposting their comments to ridicule and get others to join that site to trouble rouse)

9. (i) interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Services;

14. (n) use the Site or the Services as a forwarding service to another website;
15. (o) Allow usage by others in such a way as to violate these TOU or any additional Terms of Service;
16. (p) take any steps to interfere with or in any manner compromise any of Lefora's security measures;
17. (q) use the Software or this Site for fraudulent purposes;
18. (r) harvest or collect any information about or regarding other Account holders, including, without limitation, any personal data or information;

(y) attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify or hack this Site or the Software, or to defeat or overcome any encryption and/or digital rights management technology implemented by Lefora with respect to this Site, the Software and/or data transmitted, processed or stored by Lefora, this Site or the Software;
26. (z) use this Site or the Software in any manner not permitted by this TOU, or otherwise exceed the scope of the Services that you have signed up for (i.e., by accessing and using the tools that you do not have a right to use).

Anthropal started it all btw, when ex members from his forum joined mine, he started emailing me about
them, I ignored him because he had attacked them on his thread "Explaining my position" (now hidden or deleted)  in Nature or God lefora, he also implied April on my forum was them aswell? they had left that forum and after they left he went around mud slinging names..now he says they started it? how convenient to lie now anthropal..Now that I did not allow anyone on my forum to carry on like you and Rich have over at Science and Religion..and if you work for lefora you should be reprimanded for your behaviour of a 5th grade bully!  and encouraging forum wars is not right!  Rich joined my forum just to bait and  call two of members the same person?
Sounds like he and anthropal are one and the same person, they both started to contact my forum and me over my members joining, and now repost all our posts they want to poke and ridicule

Meaning no disrespect, but Lefora (which I am not a employee or related to on my wifes second cousins side of the Family and all comments are my own) provides a Forum Hosting Service not a baby sitting service. Your Forum is run by you and if you do not like what is going on in it; Moderate posts, Ban irritating members and ignore them once banned. If they wish to start their own Forum, do not join or read it. Nothing they could post that you do not read will affect you.

Even if they copy material, unless you are selling that material, hurts you not one wit. Now there may be Legal issues with them doing this if it is used in a Libelous manner (I forgo commenting on issues of copy right since it is all too often imaginary (There is nothing new under the sun)). But really life is too short to get worked up too much.

Matt read the rules of lefora before reading me your ill informed opinion. I am not all worked up, I am quite rightly coming to lefora to promote my forum Spiritual Services Forum, I do not need Anthropal and Rich on their site telling their members I am a fraud and no clairvoyant thats libelous and dangerous, and it defeats the reason we all run sites on here, for ourselves, not for other lefora forum managers of other sites, to go reposting what we say on our forums and ridiculing our site that deleted their memberships. Which is all this is about.

Lefora Adminstration, I appreciate you allow us for free to set up our forums, but I have not spent the past 7 months posting articles and setting my site up, to encourage others to join for the right reasons, to find I have to go private because two cowboys called Anthropal and Rich decide to send their members of their ATHEIST forum to my site to cause trouble. I am not against atheists (well behaved intelligent ones) I am against militant ignorant abusive ones who use  their own site against myself.and my forum just because lefora have done nothing as yet to keep the peace here! and maintain some kind of order.

I've communicated with rona over email.  I've advised her to turn her forum private so that she can have full control of members accessing her forum.  And to repeat mattb4's point, moderating posts (deleting and warning members) and banning members sometimes is a necessity of running a forum.  Lefora provides all the tools so admins can do that easily.  Lefora itself does not step in to police forums and moderate topics, we leave that to the admins.  When a forum violates our terms of use we reserve the right to shut down the forum.
