Community Announcement from chief
Hi, this is a brief announcement from the Lefora Support forum going out to anybody who's joined the support forum. We're currently ramping up our email system, so I wanted to let admins like yourself know that in addition to 'Forum Announcements', we recently turned on the Invite System within your forum.
You, or a member of your forum can now click 'Send Invites' (located at the top left of your forum, on your user bar), to goto a page that will allow you to invite your friends from gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, aol mail, and a number of other email services. You can send them a short email, inviting them onto your forum. We've found that 82% of our most active forums used this feature in the past.
The next email we'll be turning back on is the 'Daily Digest' which will notify a person on replies to topics they participated in. We have additional notifications planned for the near future as well.

Today again I did try again to send 2 invites using "Enter your contacts manually" and still I don't see anything in my e- mailboxes. I am sorry to say that the "Send Invites" feature does not seem to work yet :-(

Hi explorer, if you're sending it to yourself, you won't receive it, as we don't send out an invite if somebody is already a member of the forum.
I've tested and see that it works. Do you have a friend that you could try inviting?

It makes sense! I just tried and indeed it does work :-) Sorry for my mistake! I will use this tool now. Thanks so much for your prompt replies; it really helps and is much appreciated.
