Margin Problem

Good morning, I love my board and we're getting a lot of activity. Thank you.
The problem two of my posters have mentioned is that when they try to read posts, their screen is cut off on the left hand side so that they can't see the nics of who is posting (see screen shots above).
I've checked the dimensions of my added widgets and they all look good. Others are not having a problem. Not sure how prevalent the issue is.
Do you all have any idea what might be the problem for these posters?

They probably need to turn on compatibility mode in IE8. (The broken page icon at the right hand side of the address bar.)
