Why is this ad placement "problem" only with private forums?
All forums are free and I don't understand why the private forums are targeted for this type of ad placement.

Is it like a penalty for being private?
I set my forum to private for certain reasons and don't think it should be made any different than being public.
Hi breezey, an email announcement went out last week that our agreements with the ad networks on Private forums requires that we move one of the ad position to the top. This only affected Private forums. You do have the option of switching to Public forums which use a different ad network. Or you can upgrade to Lefora Pro and remove all ads on your forum for all your members.
As I mentioned on another thread, we want Lefora to be an enjoyable place for admins and members - this requirement & change came from the ad service we work with.
