Awards
Not sure if there's something like this, but would be nice to have something like awards that can be unlocked if a user meets the requirements (if you play mobster on facebook or myspace, that's like what I mean). Or achievements if you play xbox 360 (trophies on ps3). Another example of this is Gamespot.com, you get a "Recruit" badge for joining. Maybe that's just me.
Like the rankings based on posts?
No, maybe something like a section in the users profile that would give a record of their achievements, like:
Recruit - Member joined (forum name).
General - Member has been a member for 1 year.
Addict - User has made 500 posts.
Critic - User has given 100 thumbs downs.
