Advertisements
is there a way to move the advertisements to a different spot on the forums? i have a couple forums for my clan one that is a public forums and one that is just for the members of the clan and in the public forums the advertisements show up at the bottom of the sidebar but the members forum has the advertisement at the top of the sidebar and i would like to move it down to the bottom if its possible
All private forums now have the ad at the top of the sidebar. If you are a forum owner you should have received an email a couple of weeks ago detailing this change.
Starting Friday, Aug 7, 2009 the ad placements on PRIVATE forums will change. Public forums will *not* be affected.
Our agreements with ad networks for Private forums require that we place an ad 'above the fold' so it's in view when a member loads a page. The current location of ads on a forum are at the bottom right of your forum, many times, off the screen. Ads will continue to stay on your forum's sidebar, but now they will be placed near the top of the sidebar, instead of the bottom. We are *not* increasing the number of ads on your forum, just shifting one ad's location.You have the option of turning your forum public at any time and your ad placements will not change. You also have the option to upgrade to 'Lefora Pro' in your Admin Panel. This will remove all ads and provide extra storage and bandwidth for your forum.
