Notifications of PMs

I had a member point out that she would like to see pop-up notifications when you sign on or if you're logged into Lefora if you have a PM waiting (or maybe something like how Facebook notifies you of new messages without actually being a pop-up). She said her notifications do go to her e-mail, but she's signed up with her non-primary/junk e-mail account, which I know is something a lot of people do when creating online accounts. I know a lot of people hate pop-ups for any reason, but perhaps this could be a user-chosen option?
