Some ideas

Is it possible to move individual posts to a new thread (or to a newly created thread). We have a forum that needs to be structured a certain way and when posts are posted out of sync this is a problem.

It would also be great to be able to edit all posts as we have copyright issues that could be problematic. As it is now we have to copy and remove the infringing post and and ask the member to repost minus the copyright material.

As to the first question: individual posts can not be moved just Topics. All that you can do is delete posts and have the post be reposted to the correct Topic. I would recommend that you also have statements in your Category view to members to please post in the appropriate place.

Editing other peoples posts has been discussed many times (see some just recently) and other than a Admin being able to edit their own post, Lefora does not allow the practice. Once again you will need to inform members concerning avoiding posting inappropriate material that results in having their post deleted.

1.   How do I go about getting more emoticons on my forum?

2.  Is there a search option? This is for when I want to search for a posting from a certain memeber or subjest.

1. We'll have more options to add more emoticons in the future, in the meantime, over on hackyour.lefora.com they've talked about browser plugins that will allow you to use more emoticons in your forum.

2. Search is available only on public forums at the moment.  Our search database is powered by google.com and Google can only see inside of private forums.  We hope to have an alternate option available for private forums in the future.  You are free to switch your forum to a public forum at any time.
