Admin having difficulty logging in
Alright, my partner has just reformatted her PC due to a nasty virus and is currently rebuilding hers. She logged into her admin account, and then logged back out to log into the founder's account she also owns. She couldn't log into the founder's accoumt, and suspected she forgot her password, so she sent an email saying she forgot it then reset it. The reset didn't seem to take and she still couldn't log into that account, so she went back to her main account, and found she could no longer log in there. She tried to reset the password, and failed to get in. She has tried resetting the founder's password again, and still not go. Now she cannot get into any of her accounts and she has been trying over and over again for the last half hour.
The accounts having issues are Pauline (founder's account, owned by Danie and Cat jointly) and LadyDanie (Danie's main account and an admin on the forum.) I am Fe-Icribe (account owned by Cat, and is an admin account) and don't know if I am having problems logging in as I haven't logged out yet, and am scared to test it. Help please?
Does the problem with login exist when using other browsers? (or a different computer) I have read that some people have reported issues when using IE. She can try to see if Firefox will allow her to login using her original P/W. That way you would know if it was a issue at Lefora or with her computer

I used to have issues logging in on IE but all is well (and better than that!) since switching over to Firefox...
She is usually on firefox...she tried internet explorer. She tried on my machine and it still didn't work.
can you have your partner post here, either as a logged in member, or logged out as a guest, from there, i will be able to ask her questions and find out what the problem is (i'm guessing it's something specific to her machine or a bad password).
Is it possible that you might have corrupted Cookies for your Leforum...??? It's just a wild guess here, and I'm no IT wizard, but I've had password problems before on many sites, and often going to Tools-->Page Info-->Security-->Cookies-->Delete all cookies for "this" website (on your broswer) helps, then simply exit website , start up again, and re-enter website/forum with full username and password...
Not sure if that'll help though...???

Port checked
PW reset twice on Founder account and once on Admin account
PC just reformatted and rebuilt from scratch
Login tested on 2 different machines
Tested login in IE and Firefox
Now that is more infos that shows I tried all I could... Pls HELP!!!
I would suggest PM your account details to chief so that he can check that you have a valid user/PW.
when the password is being reset, is the person getting an email to their inbox, then clicking on the link in the email, then typing in a new password? Does this work 100% fine or is there some error along the way?
