Can others delete your messages?

I only ask because i had some messages from a new member,now they have gone from my message box,and i have not deleted them myself.Have we been hacked?

that shouldn't happen, has anybody else experienced this?  and nobody's forum has been hacked. 

it's possible it's a bug and we can look into getting this resolved.
