Closing LeFora Account loophole?

Couldn't you just set up a new email addy and re-apply from there? Surely that'd be easier, no..?

No, I'll be depending heavily on email notifications from lefora so I need my main email account connected. Naturally that's what I used to sign up, so you can see how I'm stuck.

I just set up an extra email address so that all my forum stuff goes there, and private mail goes to my other one. I know it's a pain, but is there no way you could manage one personal and one forum-related...?

Tbh, I find it quite handy keeping the two separate since I started doing it that way...

But no, I selected the email address I wanted affiliated with lefora for a reason. Unfortunately I didn't realize that usernames would appear only in lowercase, or I would have been just as careful when selecting my username.

I'm hoping this "loophole" will be the answer I'm looking for: closing my account, then signing up again using the same email address, different username.

If it doesn't work, then I use a gmail address that is set to forward all lefora emails to my main address.

if you close your account, you cannot signup under the same email address.

If you're using gmail, you can sign up with multiple accounts on the same email address using a special + operator.

For example, if your email is   yourname@gmail.com

You can use yourname+forum1@gmail.com and yourname+forum2@gmail.com to sign up, and both are valid email address which you can receive mail at (gmail is awesome)
