hide stuff and upgrade members?
hi
i was wondering if there was a way i could hide stuff from guests so they had to be a member to see it that would be great for my site since the point of the site is to get members true me giving them programs.
also if there was a way to upgrade members like they get another title but as it is now you can only upgrade them to moderator or admin/founder i would like something where they couldn't chance the site
if you could do just that in question number 2 it would be cool but even better if there was a way you could make the "upgraded person" enter a categories or section a normal member wouldn't be able to

but i got another problem i don't think its a topic worth but how do you make a new line in your signature??? if that is even possible
The first link was to give you the idea of having two forums - one private, one public - so you can authorise members of your public forum to join/view your private forum that has all your goodies.

well so you are saying that every time i get a new member i need to send them an email saying they should go to the other forum to get what they want??? or did i misunderstood something??? and how do i make that forum private wont the link just get leeched somewhere???
