Lefora Slowdown Episode II - The Servers Strike Back...?
I tried to post this elsewhere, but 504 Gateway errors prevented it...
What on Earth is goin on on here...?
Massive forum slowdown twice in less than a week. "We are increasing server capacity" doesn't wash indefinately, and neither does "unusually large server traffic"...
What's going on here...?
Yes, I know it's free (minus all the ads) but why is this happening again so soon...?
Things worth mentioning:
- No, it's not my comp - other forums work just fine and very swiftly.
- Yes, it is free, but after (seriously) considering upgrading to the paying Pro service on Lefora I'm really starting to change my tune after recent "possible issues" that "may" affect "some forums". Horse pooh!!!
Excuse my anger, by all means, but don't miss my points. Twice in one week is worse than a joke...
Hi fossilmagnet, yes we did have another server slowdown, this one was very temporary and everything is fully back online.
Twice in a week's time span is unfortunate, but our overall up time has been quite superior and we'll always post about down time here in the support forum (if somebody else doesn't first), so we're quite transparent with any issues.
Our focus (and interest) is keeping your forum 100% up and running, without any hiccups (whether that be server slowdowns or malicious spammers).
