Unable to load Header images.

Just tested - works for me using forum admin.

Nope does not work. Tried  a image here just now 64KB would not load. Someone else commented on my Forum that images would not load.

I am able to use imageshack to upload the Header image and use the css page to add it to the Forum. So the problem seems to be the image Server at Lefora. It displays previously loaded but will not accept new images.

Will test again but as of now the sites are barely loading (no Avatars) I don't see any image in the Lefora Support Header? Perhaps its also slow to load.

Page loads stop at s7.addthis.com and on my forum at pixel.quantserve.com. Still can post wich is interesting.

With the press of other events I have been unable to follow this down from back when I first posted this. I am still unable to either load Header or Post images to Lefora. I am running openSUSE 11.0 and Firefox 3.0.5 and Flash 9.0 r151 I select to upload and nothing happens beyond getting image loading displayed for the posts. For the Headers it just switches to saying done with nothing changing. BTW this reply box is small with absolutely no toolbar or other edit features. I hope it is not the Lefora 2.0 Standard from here on in.

Hi, I see that your not logged into the support forum when you posted this question, that might be the first cause of your issues (guests cannot upload, and the reply box is smaller).

1st, are you able to login to the support forum without any errors?

2nd, the uploader uses flash and requires Adobe Flash 10 as I mentioned on another thread we conversed on.  Maybe on suse there is no option to upgrade to flash 10 from adobe at this point, but i'm sure they'll offer one in the future.  We also may be changing around or uploader after Lefora 2.0 comes out, so that might be of help to you as well.

Without Flash 10, i'm sorry, but you won't be able to upload any attachments or header images.  However, for header images, you could always upload them to photobucket.com, and use CSS to link to the image, so you can still customize header and bg images by storing them somewhere else any setting them as bg images with CSS.  hackyour.lefora.com can help on how to use CSS on your lefora forum.

*MattB4* I can not logon to Lefora 2.0 here or at Hack, only my own Forums show me as being logged in. I will be upgrading to Flash 10 at some point soon. Although I had someone who wrote to me who has it while running openSUSE that could not upload images either. As earlier in this Topic, I already mentioned that there was no problem with using a hosted elsewhere image. Just Lefora has these issues. It is getting to the point that I am examining other options for my Forum. Breaking the functionality of the Forum repeatedly with unannounced or untested changes is is really getting old.
