Hi originaljoe, i tried this out yesterday and it worked for me, sorry I forgot to reply here.  Have you tried manually typing in email addresses or are you using the function that logs into your email?

Hi adryn86, you can put in your own static html to use as ads, but something like google adsense will not work.

Thanks for the suggestion steve.  Exactly what permissions would you like to give mods that they don't already have? (there are some member controls coming for mods in the near future).

For now, we've opted on a system that is incredibly easy to use and admin and has less 'options' to confuse people.  By keeping things with less options, it also allows us to make upgrades more frequently to your  forum.

i know mattb4 on this forum runs suse, so he might be able to offer some advice.  Maybe there is some flash issue on SUSE not supporting their latest candidate, 10.x

Could you try upgrading to the latest version of flash (they're now at 10.x), please let us know if that resolves the issue.

I think you have that error because your using domain forwarding within iframes with your custom domain and that's causing problems.

For signatures, - The signature issue is currently an open bug as of a few days ago from my comment above.  We'll have it fixed over the next week or so.  We're currently in the middle of another release and can only push out critical updates at the moment.  Avatars should be ok in your forum now.

Apologies if there's still anybody having avatar issues, it didn't affect everybody yesterday, and hopefully, everybody should be fine by today.  I just made this post in another thread:

This was part of a change to our DNS to handle our growth with load balancing servers.  We're pretty transparent on any service interruptions, I even try to explain it in common terminology so admins are aware of what's happening.  Unfortunately, the way DNS works, it can take a few hours to propagate, we took off the announcement at the top of everybody's forum late last night when we believed 95% of forums were in the clear.  I believe you're in the UK and it may have taken a little longer for DNS servers in your country to fully propagate.  I would have to assume by now that the avatars are loading properly in your forum, please let me know if they are not.  For the fastest response, my email address is 'chief -at- lefora.com'

Again, our apologies for this interruption, but as we're constantly improving lefora, there may be brief service interruptions, just like there are on other websites, from twitter.com to gmail.com.  We try to keep them to a minimum, and this one, didn't have any downtime for your members, it just didn't have avatars loading for all  people (it worked for some members and not for others while the DNS change was propagating).

she has been removed as founder (and probably set to an admin, but you can remove her or change her status now).
