How can I control if my members first goto the Headlines page or the Forum page? - and -What's the difference between the Headlines and Forum page?

I would like for the forum to open to the headlines page instead of the forum page... is there a way to do that?

I just wanted to say that you all are awesome....

By the way, can you tell me what you think of layout and categories in my forum? I'd love subcategories (I know you all are working on therm).

And I was wondering a couple of things:

            ... is there a way to place anything UNDER the main area on the left side?

            ... I really have no clue about CSS.... and I see that alot in some of the uestions/answers and I am wondering how learning this could benefit my forum? 

           ... Lastly, I could never get my header picture to fit all the way across the screen. At this point I'm not sure I want it to, but curious as to how yours does it.

I installed a new widget... with scrolling text.

I have a member that uses firefox and he can't see it.  Why would that be?

Her username is ksfordham. She is stuck in the recently online box, which is the first sidebar widget displaying in the forum.

Hate to bring this up again... but this member still shows online... all of the time. I really think she is stuck... Help if she isn't... is there anyway you can log her off... and she'll have to log back in?

admins cannot edit other members posts, this is to preserve the voice of the member, you can delete posts, but not edit them.

Can we please get that ability. I understand that it could be misused by some... but... I'd like the ability to rename a topic. I'd also like the ability to move a post into another thread...

For example.. I started a thread and requested only people with particular skills respond... of course... everyone didn't read the entire initial post... so I have posts in that thread that should not be there.  I don't want to delete their comments as they are good ones, but I'd like to move them into a different thread.

Thank you. He was able to reset it, but he sent me an email to yahoo account advising me that he forgot and asking how long it would take for a response to his email so he could re-set it.

I did tell him I didn't have access to password information, but his question made me curious.

My member profiles show ages, not birthdates.

we'll probably highlight birthdays in the future. For now, you could tell them to list their birthday in the 'about me' section which is viewable in the profile.

Is there anyway, Admins can be included when a member sends an email saying they forgot their password? or that we can have that information for our members?

It moved finally... my newest member has now replaced the one that was stuck....

I've done that a couple of times by copying some of the headlines, but I noticed that verbage I quoted earlier and wondered if I had missed the ability to do that.

1) Can you add the ability to put messages in folders.

2) Can you add the abiity to do mulitple or group delete messages?

In case I overlooked this request I apologize. I did see a post about adding a chat widget...but I am wondering if you plan on adding an option for members to IM each other while they are on the forum.
